Here are several pictures we have had for a while, but have not posted....because I forgot about them...yeah.
So we were taken to the ocean which we did not take pictures of...because it was not a flattering beach for Taiwan.... But we did take pictures of the people practicing for the dragon boat festival as well as these cool trees/walk way close to the ocean. These trees only grow next to the ocean. Note this is where we actually watched the dragon boat festival....It was completely transformed.
So cool. Next are the ocean trees and wooden walk ways. It is very pretty there. So peaceful.
Oh no! the house is flooded. Oh wait no, it is actually just surrounded by a load of trees.
Here I am looking cool. The reason there are so many pictures of me...is because Alan always has the camera. But don't worry I am planning on taking some pictures of him riding his bicycle later today. Now that is going to be a great story to tell.
This is a stray dog that was following us. She wanted food. Apparently she is used to getting fed. But we had none to give. Anyways, I just have to say....Don't walk into the light! Stay away from the light! The light is bad! Don't greet the light!
Ok, but we did have to walk that way to get back to our friend/co-worker/fellow American Gene's car. (He moved here 10 years ago and teaches english at the school full-time. He speaks even less Chinese than me!)
